Dashboard SaaS application to gain insight into marketing processes

Business context
Lashback owns custom applications for affiliate email marketing campaigns. The client needed to create a Dashboard SaaS application that retrieves external data from his apps to display reports and graphs, and measure the effectiveness of campaigns. The application was to be additionally equipped with a customer panel, enabling self-service management of subscription and access to app’s services.
Business challenge
To gain valuable insight into the marketing practices of partners and their affiliates.

  1. Users did not have a good insight into the data from the campaigns conducted: data was scattered throughout several applications, it was not displayed in a readable form. This extended the campaign analysis and made it difficult to make decisions about the performance campaigns conducted.
  2. Users should be able to comprehensively analyze their affiliate campaigns in order to reduce manual activities and time spent on data management.
  3. Implementation of a new process – combining displayed reports and data in one panel in the form of services with different levels of availability depending on the subscription purchased.
  4. The final expectation was to increase the revenue from user-driven campaigns, and for our client – an increase in the satisfaction of current subscribers (customer retention) and an increase in sales of his SaaS services.
How we helped
We made an independent dashboard app and introduced tiered service options. 

  • data extract, transform and load to correct data visualization in charts and reports
  • advanced data sorting and filtering options
  • pull data from multiple sources, includes DB queries, SOLR searches, and external APIs to integrate 3 different external applications in one dashboard
  • user-centered UX design, enabling access to all data of each subscribed application
  • differentiation of data visibility and functionalities depending on the subscription
  • unavailable functions are visible, but do not contain data, a user who wants to have a wider range of services can buy the desired service
  • we have created a subscriber panel where the user can manage application modules and buy additional services
